The Rova

During my two years in Israel, I was fortunate to learn/teach in Yeshivas Netiv Aryeh. The Yeshiva (Talmudic Academy) overlooks The Kotel and to get there one has to walk through the "Rova"  (lit. quater), one of the most beautiful parts of Jerusalem. This to me is the Rova.

First one to go up. (Not sure why I chose this one). Geula Friday afternoon: packed with boys and girls shopping and doing some other "stuff". The residents of Meah Shearim/Geula take offense at this and so they send out some people to stop it. This is one of the many.

About Me

A little bit about me before I start blogging.

My name is Mordechai Hanover, I am currently studying in Israel (shana bet). I also happen to love photography which is what this blog will be about.
I am a total amateur when it comes to photography, any knowledge that I have is either self taught or from asking around. I bought my camera about a year ago when I realized that there is so much here to capture/ so much that we don't have in America or anywhere else for that matter. I literally took my camera everywhere I went and as a result I was able to capture some great shots. After being bugged enough by my friends, I started showing my pictures around. The reactions that I got from people prompted me to start sharing/posting them online. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
